Private security guards and police officers suppress Kenyan community

Bamburi Cement, G4S security firm and Kenyan police unit GSU stand accused of committing alleged human rights violations in the village Denyenye in coastal Kenya, following an intensive transnational investigation into their activities.

The investigation in Denyenye has revealed an intricate web between G4S, Bamburi, and police unit GSU who have been accused of raping, maiming, and killing locals following what the locals deem a forcible eviction from their ancestral land.
