About the Exhibit

This virtual experience provides an alternate way to engage with the Rivers of Sewage investigation. The exhibit includes story excerpts, photographs, data visualizations from the investigation and links to other aspects of the reporting and partners.

Data regarding sewage spills and diarrhea rates will be interpreted as animated water droplets. The amount of water will reflect the number of sewage spills per 100km of pipeline in a given year while the water’s turbidity reflects the incidence of rates of diarrhea among children.
